OK i figured it might be hard to come up with an explanation of the Kaze and Naruto and Hinata's fighting styles. so here goes:'
"I was also asked about the two Kaze fighting styles. Things with the names are a little bit mixed up here. The Kaze are supposed to be an Indian like society. However, the idea to make them Indian didn't come to me until after I had named them and their fighting style. All of those names are in Japanese. Basically when I was solidifying the background of the Kaze for their arc, I decided just to use the words as if they were Hindi like all the other names in the Kaze. So Shino-To-Be is a shinto wind goddess and and Shino-Tsu-Hiko a wind god. The Kaze are the children of the wind, gifted with this style taught to them (legend has it) by the gods themselves as the ultimate fighting style. As opposed to a lot of 'hard' martial arts styles, the Shino styles include a lot more circling, twisting and snapping movements. They use circular foot movement and a lot of weaving type steps. They also change quickly, moving from one height to another, one type of strike to another.
Between the two styles there are some differences. Hinata's Shina-To-Be is very light and quick. She does a lot of ariel moves and small whipping strikes. It allows her to move in and out of range quickly and apply her bloodlimit to hit very specific targets. Someone like Shivani would rely more on using opponent body against them, hitting pressure points, chocks and locks as well as hitting vulnerable targets such as eyes. Naruto is harder hitting. He still strikes fast and hard, but where To-Be really focuses on targets, Tsu-Hiko focuses on damage. He rolls, sweeps, works on the ground and in the air, coming at his enemy fast and hard. Again, these are just sort of tendencies in each style, not exclusive to either one. Sora tends to fight somewhere in the middle.
The principles are Disorient, Overwhelm, Engulf, Devastate, Destruction, Flow, Ensnare, Petrify and Drain. These are grouped into threes:
1) overwhelm, devastate and destruction, (ones focused on doing physical harm)
2) disorient , engulf and petrify (ones that use emotions and instincts)
3) Flow, ensnare and drain (ones the use pure energies)"

What do you think youre doing? Hiashi said angrily. Naruto almost couldnt hear him, what made him more afraid. He felt Hinata letting him go, while she looked at her father. Father I

Prey chapter 26
Chapter 26: Secret mission; Sneaking in/out
It was in the middle of the night and Naruto was sitting on the roof top of the Hokage tower. He was waiting. Waiting for the few chu-nin that walked down on the road to disappear. Then he could sneak in and get what he wanted.
Now you might want to know why he was sneaking into the Hokage tower in the middle of the night. It was for a mission he had given his own. Nobody knew about it except for the Kyubi. The fox had suggested this little mission a day after Naruto heard Hinata wanted to run away from home.

Chapter 11: D-emon
You will go to the river and clean it. I dont want to see any garbage in it when youre finished, Tsunade said. Ow man, Naruto sighed and looked to the right. Mitsuki was sighing as well, but didnt protest. They both left the Hokage office and went to the river. I hate those D-missions, Naruto said while they were walking. I understand I have to do them, but why you? Mitsuki asked. I am still a ge-nin, Naruto mumbled a bit down. What! Youre kidding, right?
Naruto looked to his comrade; she was looking stunned at him. No, I

i this this explains the fighting styles of them both. I did notice in the chunnin exams how Neji and Hinata just planted their feet and only dodged with their top halves. I am a brown belt in tai-Kwon-do and my cousin is a black in jujitsu and we were taught that in order to actually wina gainst an opponent, you had to keep a shifting, but stable, center of gravity.
Should you keep a steady stance(like Neji's) there is a serious problem of movment. If Hinata were to use her shina-to-be on Neji during the chunnin, there's no way that he could have kept up with her using his "mountain stance" she would have been able to dance circles around him.
